TealHeal Finalist at Cooley Capital Call Conference

[San Diego, CA, March 9, 2021] TealHeal, an innovative platform for home-based healthcare, has been recognized as a finalist in the Cooley Capital Call Where Innovation meets Capital.  The virtual event will feature seed and venture-stage Digital health and Medtech companies on March 23, presenting five-minute rapid-fire pitches. Recognition as a finalist is significant as a record number of applications were received.

“I’m happy to have been promoted to the presentation round,” said Dr. Gelena Lifchitz, Founder and CEO of TealHeal. “For start-ups like ourselves, I am grateful to Cooley for their efforts to connect investors with entrepreneurs.”

TealHeal’s vision statement is that “home is the best place to heal.” This is even more true in light of the current pandemic. Through its suite of hardware and app-enabled tools, TealHeal allows any physician to deliver a high-quality home visit, offering a suite of procedures and tests similar to what could be delivered in an urgent care facility. “Our platform is addressing the 45% of telehealth visits that are currently lacking data,” said Dr. Lifchitz. “The TealBag Diagnostic System deployed by a visiting nurse covers over 200 billable services.”

“This is a business model whose time has come, and today’s COVID crisis only underlines the need; we’re excited about the attention we’ve been receiving from the investor community,” said Lifchitz.  “We’re glad to be able to bring together our premier wireless technology with a human touch and cultural awareness, and ultimately create improved patient outcomes.”
